Who Can Enter

1.Entrants must be legal U.S. and Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin residents who are between 16 and 26 years of age. The date as of which age eligibility is determined will be April 19, 2010.

2.Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc. and Samsung (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How to Enter

3.No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry per person.

To enter visit www.myfoxchicago.com and tell us in 50 words or less why you feel you should be considered for a role on “Glee.” In addition, entrants must upload a video that displays their ability to sing and act to myfoxchicago.com. Entrants must sing songs from a public domain list; it can be accessed at http://www.myfoxchicago.com/generic/entertainment/television/glee-casting-call-song-list. Anyone who submits something other than one of these songs will be disqualified. All submissions must be original and conform to Sponsor’s then-current standards and practices and policies as established or determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Without limiting the foregoing, submissions may not contain profanity or references to violence, or demean any gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Additional requirements include: (i) the song must be sung by the person appearing in the video, and the audio must be recorded at the same time as the video; (ii) the singer must be the only person appearing and performing in the video, and (iii) contestant must perform without instrumental accompaniment (a cappella). Entrants must own the copyright to, or otherwise have all necessary rights in, their entry materials. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or remove any entry based on a claim of copyright infringement. Entry constitutes an unlimited perpetual license to Sponsor to use entry materials, including, but not limited to, the right to copy, distribute, publicly perform and display the entry materials on its websites, television stations and in any and all media whether now known or hereinafter invented. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.

4.The casting call starts on March 15, 2010 at 5:00 am local time, and all entries must be received by FOX Chicago by 11:59 pm local time on March 28, 2010. FOX Chicago is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail or for printing errors.

5.From March 29, 2010 to March 31, 2010 contestants’ submissions will be judged on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest) in the following categories by FOX Chicago personnel: overall creativity (judging both the essay and the video), singing ability and acting ability. Entries with the highest total scores (a maximum of 20 contestants) will become finalist.

6.From April 1, 2010 at 5:00 am local time to April 16, 2010 11:59 pm local time, Twenty (20) finalists will be posted on myfoxchicago.com on a special “Glee” page. The winner will be determined by internet voting in accordance with voting rules announced at the time votes are solicited. The contestant with the most votes will be the winner. In case of a tie, the winner that received the highest rating from the judges will be selected. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the contest, or, at its option, to select the winner by alternate means if, in Sponsor’s discretion, the voting becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.

7.All entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

The Prize(s)

8.The winner will be announced on April 19, 2010 on Good Day Chicago in the 9:00 am local time hour. A separate video audition by the winner (using a song from the list to be provided by FBC) will be recorded to send to Glee casting producers. The prize has no commercial value. (i) In the event production of the GLEE Casting Call is cancelled or postponed, related prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefore; (ii) Audition opportunities are non-transferable and cannot be sold to or used by any person(s) other than the winner.

9.The winner will be notified by phone. The winner must complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release, which must be received within 3 days of notification. If the winner is a minor, then the winner's parent or guardian must also sign the minor’s Certification of Eligibil¬i¬ty and Release before the winner receives his or her prize.

10.If the winner does not respond to notification or does not timely return the Certification of Eligibility and Release, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner who will be selected by according to the number of votes cast during the internet voting process.

11.Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for broadcast, online posting, and/or any in any other media, including for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.

12.Prizes can not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

13.Only one winner will be selected. Individuals are allowed to submit only one entry per contest period.

Odds of Winning; Miscellaneous

14.Odds of becoming a finalist depend on the number of correct entries received. For finalists, odds of winning are 1 in 20.

15.These rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at FOX Chicago, 205 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Il. 60601, and at www.foxchicago.com, through March 23, 2010. 16.By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Fox Broadcasting Company, News Corporation, Fox Digital Media, Twentieth Century Fox Television, MySpace, Inc., GLEE show sponsors, their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensees and assignees of each from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at www.myfoxchicago.com.

17.By entering, entrants represent that they are eligible and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, and to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or arising out of this giveaway or any prize awarded.

18.This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize. FOX Broadcasting Company may also require contestants to submit to a background check.
