Who Can Enter

1.Entrants must be legal IL, IN, or WI residents who are 21 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.

2.Employees of WFLD FOX Chicago and The Tilted Kilt (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter

3.No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Only one entry per e-mail address per entry period. There will be seven separate entry periods. Giveaway begins at 5am local time on the following dates (1/12/12, 1/16/12, 1/23/12, 1/30/12, 2/6/12, 2/13/12, 2/20/12) and all entries must be received by 11:59pm local time on the following dates (1/14/12, 1/21/12, 1/28/12, 2/4/12, 2/11/12, 2/18/12, 2/25/12). To enter go to the contest page on www.myfoxchicago.com and click the contest link and submit your question or email your question to thefinalword@foxchicago.com.

4.Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

5.FOX Chicago producers will select 1 winner per week from among valid entries on the following dates (1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26). Selection will be based on the following criteria; timely, topical and relevance. The selected question will be featured during the Rant N Rave segment during the Final Word (Sunday 10-1030p).

The Prize(s)

6.Winner will receive the a $50 gift certificate “KILT KASH” redeemable at any of the 11 Tilted Kilt locations in Chicago and Northwest Indiana supplied by the Tilted Kilt.

7.Winner will be notified by e-mail or phone on the following dates (1/17, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27). Winner will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release within 5 days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If a winner cannot be reached, or if a winner does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing.

8.Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner(s). The winner(s) cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

9.The winner(s) is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

10.Only one prize will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 90-day period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered. Winner(s) must claim the prize by March 9th, 2013 or the prize will be forfeited.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

11.Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

12.Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation.

13.These giveaway rules are available at www.myfoxchicago.com, and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WFLD Fox Television, 205 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60601 through February 26th 2013.

14.For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after February 26, 2013 to: WFLD FOX Television, 205 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60601.

15.This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.

16.By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at www.myfoxchicago.com.
