Official Rules for Hyundai Santa Fe “Fly Away” Getaway

Who Can Enter

1. Entrants of the Hyundai Sante Fe “Fly Away” Getaway must be legal IL, WI or IN residents who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.

1. Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., and Hyundai Dealers Association (“Sponsor”), and their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.  11/1/12 through 11/30/12 viewers are encouraged to visit myfoxchicago.com to enter giveaway on either the  myfoxchicago.com contest page or the Hyundai Santa Fe “Fly Away” contest page.  Entrants will be required to complete online questionnaire with their name, complete address, including zip code, email address, and phone number.   Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever.  Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. CAUTION:  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.

The Prize(s)

1. From all qualified entrants we will select one (1) winner on 12/3/2012 at 10am to go, with a guest, to Santa Fe, NM.  Hotel valued at approximately $150 per night and flight valued at approximately $400 per person) Prize package total valued at approximately $1100) The trip includes round-trip coach airline tickets provided by WFLD and double-occupancy hotel accommodations for 2 people for two nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor. All travel must be completed between 1/1/13 – 12/31/13.  The winner is responsible for all travel-related expenses not expressly stated in the prize description, including, without limitation, meals, beverages, gratuities, ground transportation, taxes and surcharges.  If winner is unable to travel on the dates designated, winner will be disqualified and Sponsor may choose an alternate winner.

1. The winners of the grand prize trip to Santa Fe, NM will be notified by phone and or email on 12/3/12.  The winner and travel companion will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release and claim the prize in a manner determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion within 5 business days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified.  All persons traveling on the trip must be 18 years of age or over, unless travelers under 18 are accompanied by at least one adult who is the parent or legal guardian of each minor, and both travelers must complete a release form.  If a winner cannot be reached, or if a winner does not return the signed and completed Certification of Eligibility and Release and claim the prize within the designated time period, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing from among remaining entries if,  in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion, time permits.

1. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner.  The winner cannot assign or transfer prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

1. The winner is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

1. Only one grand prize will be awarded per household.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

1. Odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries.

1. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winner’s name, hometown, likeness, and photograph for broadcast, online posting, and/or any in any other media, including for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.

1. These giveaway rules are available at myfoxchicago.com and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at FOX Chicago, 205 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Il. 60601, and at www.foxchicago.com, through December 3, 2013.

This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules.  Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize

By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession , use or misuse of any prize and (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at myfoxchicago.com.
