Chula Vista Giveaway
Who Can Enter
1. Entrants must be legal IL, IN, or WI residents who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.
2.Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc. and Chula Vista Resort (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.
How To Enter
3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Weeks of 7/8/13, 7/22/13, 7/29/13 and 8/12/13 viewers are encouraged everyday to tune-in to the Wendy Williams Show to learn the keyword needed for entry. Entry period is 7/8- 7/12, 7/22-7/26, 7/29-8/2 and 8/12-8/16 from 10a – 1159p. Contestants can enter one time per day for each entry period. Non-winning entries will not carry over to the next entry period. The word will be changed each entry period.
4.To enter, go to the Contest page at <b>www.myfoxchicago.com</b> and follow all instructions for ‘Chula Vista Giveaway’. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Only one website entry per day. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any text message entry at any time which in Sponsor’s determination does not comply with these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.
5.One (1) winner will be selected on the business day following the end of each entry period (7/15, 7/29, 8/5, 8/19).
The Prize(s)
6. Winners will receive the following: A prize package from Chula Vista Resort includes a one night stay and four (4) passes to Chula Vista Water Park, ARV is $299.
Prize valid until 6/30/14. Not Valid holiday periods. Redemption instructions will accompany all certificates. Liability is limited to the cash value of the package. Certificates will be mailed two to four weeks after winner is notified and returns all necessary documentation. All persons traveling on the trip must be 18 years of age or over, unless travelers under 18 are accompanied by at least one adult who is the parent or legal guardian of each minor. The winner is responsible for all travel-related expenses not expressly stated in the prize description, including, without limitation, meals, beverages, gratuities, transportation, taxes and surcharges.
7.Winner(s) will be notified by phone on 7/15, 7/29, 8/5 and 8/19. Winners and travel companions will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release within 5 business days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If a winner cannot be reached, or if a winner does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing from among all non-winning entries.
8.Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner(s). The winner(s) cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.
9.The winner(s) is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.
10.Only one prize will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 90-day period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered.

11.Odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries received.
12.These giveaway rules are available at www.myfoxchicago.com, and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WFLD Fox Television, 205 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60601 through July 31, 2014.
13.For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after 8/19/2013 to: WFLD FOX Television, 205 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60601.
14.This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.
15.By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at <b>www.myfoxchicago.com.
